It is located in Loktak Lake in Manipur state. Loktak Lake is the largest freshwater lake in Northeast.It is famous for the phumdis floating over it. Loktak Lake is said to be the only floating lake in the world. This lake is known for its tasty fish. Loktak Lake has a lot of dead mass and vegetation which floats up to the surface of the lake, giving it a floating appearance.
