World Tourism Day: Taj Mahal and 200 Historical Monuments Visit in India For Free

On the occasion of World Tourism Day, Taj Mahal and other Monuments hosted free entry for Indian & International Tourist around the globe.

Tourists across the globe paid a free visit to Taj Mahal here on the occasion of World Tourism Day, Sunday. Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) survey of India has marked this year ‘One billion tourists, one billion opportunities visit Historical building like Taj Mahal,Red fort, Agra Fort Free of cost except in Bihar.

On other days, Indian tourist pays Rs. 20 and foreigners pay Rs. 750 for entry fee in the beautiful building. On world tourism day, Tourists were excited to visit beauty of building Agra that is known as ‘Epitome of Love’. Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and tourist come from the abroad also come to watch it .Here foreigners from other countries Replied: We have rights today to visit it for free,” said a tourist from New Zealand, Loylkar.

There are many historical monuments in India, where people visit free of Cost on World Tourism Day occasion includes Agra Fort, Qutub Minar, Red Fort, 35 Museum sites under the Archaeological Survey of India and Other museums that is control by the Ministry of Culture.

27th September 2015 was observed as World Tourism Day across the globe. Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has issued free entry to approximate 200 Monuments like Taj Mahal, Red fort, Agra Fort etc.

The theme was mark “one billion tourists, one billion opportunities” for Historical building, but luxury hotels, restaurants, emporiums that were offering amazing discount to tourist.

On general days, International tourist, who pay Rs 750 and Indian tourists pay Rs 20 per person as entry fee, while on WTD Occasion there is no charge for both Indian as well as foreign tourist.
